Feb 29 Leap Day, What's so special ??

We all know that a leap day would occur in any year that is divisible by 4 but not divisible by 100 except when the year is divisible by 400. Thus 1600 and 2000, although century marks, have a Leap Day.

what is so interesting about this?

(This is not for men...)

February 29 is also known as Sadie Hawkins Day.

In the period where rules of courtship were more strict over the past, women who were wishing to marry their beaus had to wait for the proposal and they were not allowed to express their feelings....except on one day, every four years. Yes, its feb 29.

It is assumed that, the story behind this sadie hawkins day is, "A female named 'sadie hawkins' was having a tough time to propose to the man, she loved. One day, the girl had died without even proposing to him. To prevent such kind of sad happenings, the mayor of that country declared sadie hawkins day to provide freedom for proposal to all women, only on that leap day"

We women have so much freedom today to give a tough competition against men, in terms of knowledge and excellence.

However, still some women believe that when they propose to a man today (leap day), it may surely bring them success in their love life..

So woman, if you too believe this, February 29th is your day to ask that special someone. Just keep your eye out for your man...
